I know its a daily mail article, but it seems to be true.

Luckily its not affecting any stores up here yet as far as I know, but REMOVING THE BACON? This should be bloody criminal

Why remove ham and bacon though? Would it not be ok to just add halal options to the menu? That to me seems the best way, unless theres something that says that cant be done :/

Depends
if that branch gets Muslims more
then they have to remove bacon and go halal
to make money

I remember once being with my best friend and this girl and her friend (can't remember which one of them he had his eye on but they were both thick as ****) were refusing to order food from whichever takeaway he wanted us to order from because the meat was halal and he was like "what's wrong with that, why won't you eat halal?" and they genuinely didn't even know why they didn't want to, they had mentally associated halal with 'bad' just because of stupid media scaremongering even though they didn't understand a thing about it. Then we eventually ordered food and they admitted they couldn't taste or see anything remotely different about whatever halal meat it was they had on their pizzas. Bloody ridiculous.

Yeah, I've known some people with that mentality too, it's so idiotic. But what can you do? There will always be ignorant people like the minority of people on this forum and in real life.

I don't see why any rational Muslim would complain about bacon being on the menus when they have a halal/veggie alternative it makes no sence this. This story makes no sence.
