It's the most 'Channel4era' eye we've had

One thing I've noticed about this eye that is rather different from previous Channel 5 eyes is it's "Flatness"

Compare with the two previous eyes:





They're both very much 3-dimensional, with a noticeable depth even when just in an image like that. The only other Channel 5 era eye that has been 2d was, well, the first one:



Remember this thing that never got used? It only got proper use in the adverts leading up to the launch, probably was changed due to feedback, but look at how different the intro might've been:

This suggests to me either
A) This year's graphical style will be quite different from every other C5BB thus far
or B) This is not the actual eye

I'm being cautiously optimistic here - but wasn't the whole point in the double eye bluff to go in with the secrets and lies theme? Hopefully this is the actual eye.

This reveal may look flat but you can see exactly what parts will protrude etc during eye flashes, ad breaks and so on.
