The two themes of carnival and funeral didn't really come together all that well in my view though,

It wasn't two themes. It was just carnival. The funeral was the advert.

Of course carnival and flowers go together.

Love it.

I think the thing thats great about it is that it uses the new eye design way more effectvily than the chunky eyes of C5 past. I actually think the old C4 eye design would look outdated in 2014. It only took 3 years, and numerous terrible designs, but I've really warmed to the new eye design.

I like it too. It has more potential to be freshened up each year than the Eatock eye. The Eatock eye was iconic but the C5 template looks more modern and fresh
