Is this Big Brother worth watching??

So I've not had any TV for about 7 week (it's been hell) and finally they sorted out the aerial and it's back. Not seen anything of BB apart from the first launch night so don't know any of the other 6 HM's. Have I missed too much or should I just dive straight back in? Also is it crap or not? Also who is this mythical Irish goddess people are going on about?
