Was considering the same myself. When she has a drink she just loses complete control and all her built up bile comes spewing out. I actually believe her when she says "I don't know what's wrong with me" after going too far. She seems to at times acknowledge that she has no filter and she knows she has the tendency to blow, but still can't seem to ease back on getting too drunk or control herself from flipping at any time. She's completely self destructive.
Don't get me wrong, she has very nasty opinions on people and is extremely vicious, and I wouldn't say that drink causes that because plenty of people are happy drunks. She's a very nasty drunk though, I think she knows this herself but still chooses to get too drunk anyways.
She has some serious anger management issues too and sometimes I've thought that she seems really frustrated with HERSELF that she isn't able to control her feelings.
Hard to feel sympathy for someone so cruel though. She may possibly benefit from therapy of some sort.
