People may warm to her because she has calmed down.....the only reason she has calmed down and 'seemingly' more likeable is cos she is on her final warning for being a foul mouthed goby bitch.
She is totally holding back...and all of you who are starting to like her are oblivious to this fact. |

Make that a very big pot of cream Videostar.
And put plenty on. She is just vile through and through, can't find a redeeming thing about her. |

Why doesn't Helen tell Ashleigh what she thinks of her then? |

What i'm saying is that she is not afraid to face up to somebody if the need arises. For that, I respect her. |

I don't think Helen will be liked when she leaves the house. She will probably get the most boos on final night than anyone has ever got in a final. I don't like her and I thought she was awful the first few weeks. I don't like her voice and I don't like the fact that she can be vicious when bitching about anyone. However after tonights episode I think I dislike Ashleigh more. Helen has bitched to peoples faces in many instances and told them how she feels about them. Ashleigh should be a big girl and tell whichever housemates she is bitching about with Danielle, just how she feels, and while she is at it try and mingle with at least SOME of the ****ing housemates

The odds of Helen winning are absolutely miniscule. I'd say there's at least a 50% chance she's either gonna 'walk', get ejected by BB for abusive behavior or lose the finals ticket.
If she does make it to the finals, on 'best behaviour', for the last week or so...she may pick up some votes for 'entertainment value', but i can't see her doing better than around 4th or 5th. Way too much baggage, plus we all know as long as she stays there..there will be many more abusive pissy rants to come. |

I'm liking her less and less as the show goes on and she's been my least favourite since a few days in. She's consistently horrible and hypocritical and boring. Really cannot stand the woman. It's really unfortunate that she has to be the loudest person in the house, it would be so much better off without her.

One of the biggest problems about this forum and what people write is that they only see and hear what conforms to their knowledge and belief system. Reframing a viewpoint requires the ability to see the outside view looking in. Not an easy thing to do for people who are systematic or non-empathetic.
I like the phrase: People believe what they fear to be true or what they want to be true. Why is Helen's former job despised? Could it be the fear that it is true for all young women one way or another, rather than seeing 'the job' as a way of confirming two people of unity of relationship, purpose and emotional satisfaction? There was in 28th June BBOTPsych a very interesting clip of Helen at first saying the type of person she imagined herself to be followed by examples of her not being that person. From the outside empathetic people understand that she behaves opposite to how she would like to be because she feels as if the world is spitting on her and is fighting to feel internal contentment with herself. Her constant feeling of inadequacy is her weakness unless something in BB turns this around then the public are probably always going to dislike (hate!) her. One of the biggest disadvantages she has at the moment are the available role models. IF she gets to know actor Chris and starts the deep conversation talk then there is some hope that she will learn some useful coping patterns. |

One thing that irks me every season on these forums, is when people selectively pick a housemate they dislike, and then go on about how they're basically nutters, mentally unsound..shouldn't be in the house et al.. But, in the case of Helen (after watching around 20x UK/Aussie BB Seasons), to my mind..she's right at the top of the tree..of a small handful of housemates who really should not be in the house. Way too much rage and other issues going on there. In the past, those housemates who are a bit close to the edge, have been evicted..walked or booted. ie. Helen obviously would've already gone by now (evicted) - under normal circumstances. But her having a ticket to the final, i find a bit worrisome. I think they probably should've booted her after the Matthew incident, she's too risky.

As I said, you will believe what you want to be true or what you fear to be true, seeing truth is very hard. Last edited by MarcusMel; 30-06-2014 at 06:59 PM. |
