I'm a bit conflicted on the whole thing obviously I'm happy people seem to be appreciating Helen's value as a housemate but this is at the expense of Ashleigh who whilst no isn't as good a housemate yet (she's probably second after Helen though) is infinitely the better person? If people were preferring her on housemate status alone I wouldn't have a problem. My problem is how three weeks ago people all over this forum were crying, moaning, screaming and wailing that Helen was this vile, horrible bully that needed to be removed (IMO the whole thing was ridiculously blown out of proportion in comparison to other incidents of genuine bullying on BBUK but that's a separate debate) and suddenly Ashleigh goes from being this irrelevant nothing character to someone who bitches about and criticises the most hated housemate in recent history and now SHE'S the one being booed and slated on here and people are taking Helen's side? What kind of logic is that?

It's almost as if they've forgotten how they felt about Helen's behaviour a few weeks ago and personally I think it says a lot about how fickle viewers of this show are

Not to mention it's ridiculous how Ashleigh could be preferred when she did nothing at all

The public are very fickle always will be... + Helen while pretty vile is good entertainment, and there is a broken side to her that just about allows people to forgive, and tbf she usually admitted when she acts like a twat.

Ashleigh on the other hand comes off as a vile little brat whos waaayyy to sure of herself and just wants to p**s on everyones chips. Theres no redeeming fun side to Ashleigh its all bitch no laughs.

Also the GB public love knocking people off their high horses and Ashleigh was on a very high horse. Helen realised she was gonna get Ash evicted and totally restrained herself, she basically beat Ashleigh at her own game amusingly.

Put simply for all her faults (and there are many) Helen does have a fun/nice side. She can have a laugh... and she can be quite sweet at times

Helen and the others weren't going to put Ash up for eviction, Ashleigh won them around to put him up for eviction, her job was done...she had every right to assume that the GBP wouldn't be arsehole enough to actually vote someone else out...I mean she assumed that we lived in a civilised country.

She read the public and how they would see things like a book and that is the mistake Ashleigh made by bragging about her evil plan.. She had no idea how bad it would look and has costed her big time and also coated her friend a place in the house, Helen trusted in the public and they came up with the goods
