Further details such as they are

The Pixies
We Rescue Rudolf
And Co

Today The Pixies has successfuly put in a bid to buy Rudolph and his friends from out of the clutches of a meat pie manufacturer. Ever since Santa Claus was made bankrupt due to unpaid German landing fees earlier this week, the fate of his reindeer was uncertain as the liquidators had hinted that keeping them was an unsustainable drain on the assets for the creditors. Yesterday it became clear that a Todd's Meats were in the running for buying them so they could be turned into high class venison pies for the Japanese market. With howls of protest making our phone ring continuously, we decided that now was the time to put in our own bid, which was only just above that offered by Todd's.

Rudolf and the gang almost ended up as pies

Gwendlethorp the former chief elf said this was excellent news, and offered his thanks to all at The Pixies for helping out in this small way. "Christmas will be bleak enough, now that Christmas has been cancelled, but at least the reindeer will be safe.

The Reindeer have been sent to a registered reindeer sanctuary. Any reader wishing to make donations or help out can visit the Adopt a Reindeer site here
