Pointless?....no.
It showed that Ashleigh didn't launch into bitch festival against her enemy as perhaps the whole point of the excercise was supposed to prove.
Showing that Ashleigh didn't behave like the bitch she has been accused of and using the opportunity to slaughter her arch enemy after 'being evicted'...
