I think you will find that all the "reality stars" who have gone in had either left or were not returning which i believe they were told this by the tv companies before they chose to go in.

I see where Channel 4 are coming from as he's no longer a normal person but taking the 'fame' the show has given him to make a lot of money of it.

(Plus they were boring anyway)

If it's true and they have axed him for making the transition from 'normal/civilian' to 'famous person' then - surely isn't that what CH4/Gogglebox has done anyway - not just George but every single person who appears on Gogglebox is now 'famous' for being on Gogglebox!
