Love them!
They’re really spectacular, although I do think we’re going a bit overboard now. I reckon they should be saved and made especially exclusive to the particular Bonfire Night weekend, it makes it more fun. It just gets tedious I reckon when everyone keeps doing it in the build-up; IMO it spoils the actual date itself. We should keep it the way the Americans do their Independence Day or something. People round my area have been setting off fireworks for a while now.

Yeah exactly...makes no sense Duh!
The early counterparts were simple splints of wood, home-made by both adults and children in the cottages surrounding London. Sharpened at one end, the matches were dipped in sulphur, and were used for catching the sparks struck from flints and steel, being quicker and easier to light than tinder commonly in useSulphur Match

Matches originated during the reign of the Roman Empire, but they were not self igniting. The matches were composed of thin strips of wood tipped with sulphur. The sulphurous match head was touched against a hot surface, such as fire embers or a heated poker, whereupon the sulphur would ignite. This form of match persisted into the 18th century. These matches were not an original ignition source; typically a fire would have to be lit, using steel and flint, to light the match.
In 1786 sulphur matches were sold in Paris and London with a bottle, the inside of which was coated with phosphorus. The sulphur match head was rubbed in the phosphorus and then on the cork stopper of the bottle, thereafter the match ignited.

Duh!

i dont think they should be banned.

but i think they should be kept for profesional firework displays. And it should be banned for random people to buy them and use them their selves.

I don't think fireworks should be banned.
There should just be tighter restrictions on who should be able to buy them.
