I was expecting the watch to be ugly but surprisingly it's very nice. Still not anything I'd want though. far too expensive for basically an extension of your phone strapped to your wrist.

The watch looks very nice. The phone looks nice too.
But not a whole lot in terms of innovation. It just looks like a stepping stone for Apple to catch with the competition. I was kinda hoping for something that would be a step ahead of the competition. Nothing wrong with them just catching up though. Phone watches a bit of a new thing at the moment and pretty much an on-going experiment. Most manufacturers themselves still don't quite know what there purpose could be or become. As a sports device they are good, but beyond that it's still a little sketchy, as most of the public cannot warrant the price for something that's just your phone on your wrist. Maybe in 5-10 years they could be more of a thing we commonly have. Or maybe in 5-10 years time they will just be known as failed gadgets of the decade. |
