I don't get Jay being evens and Steve 9/4 (which is nowhere near evens in betting terms btw OP)... Surely in a bottom two of Jay / stevie, the judges will vote off stevie? Convinced that Simon would keep Jay because they're sucking each other off, and surely at least two of the three others are going to save the "real" (albeit crap) act over the novelty act?

they seem to get what's called a "booster vote"
it doesn't work for every act
its working for OTY & SK though
