True.

If it was up to me, I would have it like this.

BB16 Launch = Thursday 21st May.
BB16 Final = Friday 21st August.

13 Weeks. Just like good ol' BB7.

That way, it saves money that's usually used for summer CBB, and BB stays on our screens for longer.

But TBH, one 4 week CBB a year in January, and a ten week Civilian is the best overall.

I didn't even watch BB12 much.

But I remember the final being about two days before I'm A Celebrity 2011 started.
That was even weirder.
Having BB so close to IAC, and Christmas..

And the two month gap from BB to CBB, in January.
Usually we were used to waiting about 5 months.

I think you could register interest and they would send an email when they open, not actually audition.

I was on BB9's Wikipedia page.

It says auditions were held from 21 November 2007 - 25 January 2008.

This is good, it allows them to give the house a little refurb and refresh the show a bit. A 4 week gap is good, like CBB 15 finished just over a month ago, feels like 6 months.

I can't remember, I think you could register but not audition, I think the auditions properly opened in November/December

They opened in Mid - December, I believe.
After I'm A Celebrity finished.

I would guess mid April. 13 - 20th April.

Presuming a Thursday or Friday launch this year for BB16.

The possibilities are:

Friday 1st May 2015.
Thursday 7th May 2015.
Friday 8th May 2015.
Thursday 14th May 2015.
Thursday 15th May 2015.

Or if they want to launch a bit later in May :

Wednesday 20th May 2015
Thursday 21st May 2015. - This would be best, TBH.
Friday 22nd May 2015.



I have a feeling this year might be a Wednesday Launch.
Imagine launching 1st May.
