The live stream for it was Alicia keys giving a speech about how there's gonna be exclusive content and then all the artists signed a contract on the table

I can see artists that are owners in this taking their music off of Spotify in the future too

Not here for the illuminati demanding £20 a month to listen to them. I was alright with paying for Spotify but if they all remove their music from Spotify in favour of this then I'm just gonna download their **** idhtt for £20 a month.

There is nothing so edifying than seeing a line up of the super rich saying "hey twats, you know how you get all the music for free well we want you to pay 20 quid a month so we can make even more money, how do you like them apples?"

Spotify has been known to screw over artists and cripple the industry, an alternative that can support the artists is only a good thing, which this is aiming to do right? Of course, it's the lesser artists you'd hope would be supported more than the multi-millionaires on stage.
Better audio quality is also always a positive, and it's the same price as Spotify if you don't want the lossless quality streaming. I don't like streaming music, much prefer owning it, but £20 a month is nothing really if it gets to the point where you don't need to look elsewhere for music. It'll no doubt be a success if they pull hard for the exclusives. An iPod with everything you want to listen to >>>>> either service though and always will be. |
