I think it should not matter if people prefer normal people to recruits tbh it's up to them at the end of the day. Most people prefer them too so it's probably unfair to moan and tell people to shut up when they talk about it because it's their opinion.

But they haven't got to know the housemates yet...loads of good housemates have been recruits...Derek, Imogen, Lea, Gina, etc.

It's bordering on the ridiculous now, just watch and see, being a recruit shouldn't come in to it.

I'm certain all housemates audition at some point. Those who we see as 'recruits' still have to go through some form of audition process and the usual tests potential HMs go through. Recruits probably just skip filling in an application form and some of the stages of the process.

Yeah that's correct, some of them get to skip stages 1&2 of callbacks I think.
