This reminds me of a girl I went to school with, who was in a shop and a TV (a massive old-style CRT one!) fell from a wall bracket, landed on her head and knocked her out cold. She actually got quite a bit of compensation £££ for that...

Awful thing. To happen. Hope she recovers ok.
My nan was in a shop once and the floor collapsed.... She was 85 and ended up with a compound fracture. She got no compensation as the shop was not insured (this was some years ago). She was on the local news and everything....she was most upset that 1) the fire brigade had to cut her clothes off the rescue her and 2) she didn't get her change for what she was buying. bless.
