My conversation with a friend, about the OC:

"Oh my /gawd/, Winter, or Summer, or whatever season /you're/ named after, my like, best friend's brother's son's teacher's husband's lover's child's nanny's goldfish DIED! My life is like totally OVER! I'll just go attempt to take an overdose by taking one pill and we'll have 5 episodes centering around me and how I'm soooo totally depressed!"

"Yah I know what you mean, and then I'll get an STD from licking a stamp and then I'll die during your wedding to CHAAAD and then you can refuse to marry CHAAAD and be like all emo and hate him and then he'll run you over accidentally and then you'll like, die, and he'll be like, oh my god my love! h- oh my god it's a girl in a bikini! drooooolssss! and then he'll suddenly get over you in the same episode and then a bunch of new people will appear and they'll have stupid names too, like Paris and Berlin and Madrid!"

"Like omg! Aaaawesome!"

"Dude! Let's go SURF!"

"And our boyfriends will play volleyball in a comical reversal of roles! And they'll have no relevance to our totally important lives at all! Chaaad might have a dilemma over the colour of his jeans, maybe!"

I've never watched it... and by Greg's review,, I haven't missed much..

Although, I'm probably not in the target age range for it anyway.

I also like Lost, even though it's completely unbelievable.. and, Lost has hurley.. he's as big as a house!!!!

Want to know the sad part? There are guys who play rugby in my year who watch it routinely.

They claim they've stopped, but we know better :P

Stropz, don't listen to him, the storylines are a BIT more believable than that! But I'd hope the viewers who watch it realise that it's not meant to be REAL.
I'll still stand by it.
