I like John but his BB stay didn't do anything for me. He was a deliberate bigot and had views that were not backed up with facts in evidence. He is a little out of touch for a new era show as he is a typical octogenarian and like me, a grumpy old bastard. Got to love a guy who can speak his mind, even if I didn't agree with all of it. When Marc later tried to defend himself John's reply was calm, non aggressive and to the point.

I don't mind when anyone speaks their mind. What I object to is 100% bias in favour of anyone. The manipulation on the show is almost grotesque now. First we had Marc the golden boy saved from possible eviction, now we have the situation where he is the devil personified. Its not natural, its manipulated and contrived.

Talk about the pot calling the kettle, the HM's were just as wary / scared to tell John McCririck what they thought about his comments, in some way not dissimilar to Helen, because they did not know how he would react, or knew how he would react. So John said it, it must be right, question it and you will be shot down, they have seen him on BBOTS, they know how he operates, none of them would want to go there, he can be just as 'nasty' when he thinks he's right...

Apart from John spilling the old truth tea to Marc, what I noticed most is that he was really well-mannered to the staff in the "hotel" whereas the others acted mostly like pigs.

he was polite actually, marc asked him for his opinion and bang he got it....marc is the ultimate hypocritical control freak bully. he demands everyone speak their minds and when they do he has a tantrum and refuses to listen and talks over everyone...hes been throwing cheap insults and upsetting and bullying from minute 1
