Because he got his friend thrown out over a drunken joke gone wrong, BB had already told Aaron off earlier in the night so there was no need for Joel to stick the Knife in more.

My biggest issue with Joel is how he rehearses everything that he does, he didn't really care about Sam's eviction, just that it made him look good to “not want to vote anyone of them out” Nick felt much more genuine with his defense of Sam because it was much more subtle and looking less like he was trying to impress the public (btw I dislike Nick more than Joel) my other issue with Joel is that he'll only take on people who are either thick (Danny) or people that are in such a rage in the heat of the moment that they can't articulate themselves properly (Sarah) and of course his gonna look better in the arguments when you see the other two behave like the way they did, but if you look at the underlining factor of both arguments they have more valid points in their arguments against Joel than he does against them.

He got Aaron thrown out?... Are people actually listening to themselves?

He got bollock naked. He mounted a teenager. He mounted him and slapped his dick on him. Flashed his dick towards him. Spread his arsehole in his face. A *****ing drunk joke gone wrong?!... Honestly, WTF?

Sarah and Danny had it in for Joel from day 1. They saw someone that people might like and were whispering about him. The 4 in 4 out thing was terrible but at least it put to bed the inevitable Sarah, Danny, Kieran, Chloe clique. Danny was resourcful though and recruited others, I'll give him that.

You do realise that Aaron's not much older than Joel right?

And I agree that Sarah and Danny have always had it in for Joel, but I do think that Joel has given them reasons for him to be disliked by them now as his not very loyal, he got Sarah's friend out of the house and then started dancing around wearing women's clothing like nothing had happened.

Why would Joel walk because he disagrees with ONE thing that is thrown at them. Plus when he could potentially have Ł126k this time next week. Hardly going to walk out in protest when there could be a big lump sum coming his way.

He's the one who's trying to make it look like he's taking a principled stance. But the truth is he isn't.

In other words he isn't the principled person he's trying to make himself out to be.

That makes no sense whatsoever.

He said he refused to take part in it... which he did. That's literally all that's to it. He doesn't need to walk out of the house to show a 'principled stance', he's already done that by refusing to do a 'flash vote' to eject someone.

Right, he saw an opportunity to try to make himself look good. If he truly believed what was being asked of him and others was wrong he would protest against the production team who put him in that position. But he doesn't. He tries to make others look bad instead. It was utterly self serving.

No he hasn't. What he showed is that he'll make it look like he's taking a principled stance and smear his opponents when a vote to win is ongoing. If he was truly opposed to what happened he would take it out on the production team who were responsible for it. But he doesn't do that, because he isn't really opposed to anything that happened tonight, he's just trying to make himself look good and make the other HMs look bad.

The winner can't leave before the end.

Ch5's right wing agenda would be over if he left.

That clip with Aaron's dick near Joel's butt will mean that poor Joel could never one day become PM. An Ed Miliband tombstone moment!

Just imaging it at the dispatch box. The shadow leader always waving a copy around!

I am afraid Joel backtracked on his stance when he said he did not want Chloe to go...so he did actually have some input.
As to him not wanting to vote, that would have been up to him, the same as wanting to vote was up to the rest of them.

Yes, he was opting out but gave an opinion on who he wanted to keep. He was taking a so called principled stance, but at the same time got his say in. In other words, he wanted it both ways.

...and did people not see the convo between Christian and Joel tonight when Christian quoted him as saying to him 'You and Danny make the decision' and Joel agreed that he said that. So he wasn't averse to the decision being made to evict a HM by someone else AT ALL, just not by him.
I've really wanted to continue to like Joel as he was one of my early favs as my previous posts show, but he is coming across to me as more sanctimonious and holier - than - thou by the day and letting others take the heat and wriggling out of the latest twist has further disappointed me. Imo if he was really serious about his principles he would have laid heavily into BB in the diary room for putting himself AND his fellow HM's in that position and showed some understanding of the dilemma that those left to choose had to face, instead of laying into the other HM's for not vetoing it.

Joel is the most honest housemate left in there. It would have been easy for him to rattle off what Danny did that he was CLOSEST to Jack and Chloe but he was uncomfortable evicting a fellow housemate like that. I love him. There isn't a shred of fakeness in him. A true winner

My take on cockgate for what it is worth.

If someone tells you to repeatedly stop something of that manor from Aaron and he went even further. He deserved to go. The BB rules were quite clear and drink was no excuse.

Nonsense. Surely it was Joel's fault?... I mean people spreading their ****hole in your face is the new hello. They'll also slap their cock on you if they really like you.
