people are using the "i wish she would just ***** off back home" comment so id like to point out jermaines racist comment towards whites "people like that are called white trash" to jade, danielle and jo. And dont tell me that he didnt mean it in a racist way as some people are using qoutes that arent necessarily racism.

I dont think Jade has been racist at all. Neither has Jack if it was the C word he said. Danielle and Jo have said ignorant things that are boarderline racist.

I really still stand by the fact that Jade et al are all of limited intelligence and have no other way to communicate. I doubt they are deliberate in their thinking as they are not clever enough to be that deliberate.

Bullying is a different issue and yes I think that there is a huge amount of bullying taking place in the house and feel that BB are not taking their responsibility towards Shilpa seriously. To allow Jade to continue to verbally attack Shilpa was shocking, in normal circumstances they would have called that person to the diary room to stop the abuse, why have they chosen to stand back in this show! As for their comments that Shilpa has not complained - well should she have to when it is being broadcast around the world.

So I stand by my feelings that they are not being racist but are certainly bullying Shilpa but that is only my opinion.

No he didnt. He said on Jerry Springer they have people LIKE them (Jacky and Jade) that they call 'white trash'. Its a cultural phrase from his home-country, not an attack on white people, and he didnt even direct it at them.

I'd heard about this, although i never caught it on the show.

To be fair, I do feel Jermaine is stating the divide is due to "them" being white - Shilpa has stated its a "culture" clash

However is he stating what he feels or is he being racist? - partly this could be becuase he has grown up during the 50's/60's in america where there was a huge racism issue and partly becuase IT IS true!

What is clear is he and SHilpa have NEVER insulted Jade, Danelle and Jo or White People in the way THEY have insulted Shilpa, Shilpa's race/culture and Shilpas country

THANKYOU!! its double standards if someone called jermaine "black trash" they would say its racist. If danielle comment " I wish shes go back home" is racist then so is jermaines "white trash" comment on question time one of the ladys on the pannel said he was racist.

Shilpa and Jermaine are not racist.

Jermaine's references are related only to class, and that is why he use the term "white trash" - yes you could argue about it, it's not exactly politically correct - but it's not racist.

And I haven't heard Shilpa say anything in reference to race.

"White trash" is the American version of the word "chav"

Although it can be argued it is not "politically correct", I don't think he meant it as a racist dig.

He also said "what they call white trash" , as he was speaking in reference to the people that go on Jerry Springer... he even said "I don't want to say it but.."

but he still said it didnt he? if i called an african a negro, it would be deemed racist, but it just means a person with black skin from africa. white trash is seen as racist and you can dress it up as much as you want. its on the same line as calling someone a slave, because it basically means an impoverished person.

He said that's what they would be labelled.It's more of a social class term these days.
