I have done about 85% of my Christmas shopping already and will be wrapping those presents next week, and even begin on writing the cards out very soon even if they are not sent yet. I just love this time of year

Normally I'd be quite envious Suze, but I have only two presents left to get! I've even got 24 little Hanukkah gifts for my nieces (one each per night for eight nights). This is not like me... Maybe I'll follow your example and do my cards soon too, something I usually leave till the last minute.

True. It´s probably because nowadays i don´t really care/like Christmas. Used to, but it passes.

Nowadays it´s just all about commercial and profit really. With the actual message almost completely forgotten.

I care more about the New Year.

We all take it for granted and I garuntee while opening present or having our dinners 95% won't think about the people who have to miss out.

It's just another day for everyone to brag about what gifts the brought everyone should think about the people who don't get to celebrate actually I'm planning on spending a few hours to help feed the homeless and do something productive with the day rather then waste food and watch too much TV.
