I'd guess certainly those in the crowd not bright enough to realise she's been leading them and who follow whoever is the fashion to back

will be ones saving her.There are others but I can't and won't comment on them.Those are the main reasons for most in BB shows backing her though.

They are so easily manipulated in crowd and on BOTS.

Most don't realise they are being manipulated by Reality So Called Stars like her

most just repeat what their reality faves in house have said in the diary room to lead them thinking that must be the truth of what really happened
and many will back her and people like her in order to fit in with the in crowd to have friends.

Im all for entertainment and entertaining housemates and many people love to love a baddie but I do not condone, vanity, jealousy, laziness, lack of team spirit, ungratefulness (the professional blow dry wasn't right !!!!) rule breaking all in ONE HOUSEMATE. So I,like many others are completely and utterly baffled as to WHAT qualities Gemma has that makes many people like her.
