At this point I wouldn't even care if the nominations process gets eliminated completely, as ludicrous as it sounds? Like, I used to loooooove nominations and I'd anxiously wait for the news to be broken on Mondays and find out who nominated who, it was an actual event. But now whenever they actually do a full round of nominations, it takes up half of the episode and half the house ends up being nominated, and often times there's some convoluted twist that will undo or even change the nominations. Like, I get that nominations are compulsory and an integral part of the process and blah blah blah, but if the people getting nominated and evicted aren't even dictated by house politics then why bother having nominations at all other than for show? Like, the house politics is what nominations (and the entire franchise) are centered around, but as it stands you're more likely to be evicted because of chance than because of anything you've actually done.

Whatever, I really don't have much faith in this show anymore. BBUK is a disaster, BBUS has been terminally atrocious for years and this past season was an accident, etc. If BBCan4 sucks then just end Big Brother.

Live Feed (I still can't believe in the days of Periscope and YouTube, a live feed is no longer a viable option!?)

Less twists - honestly, the only surprising launch night twist would be no launch night twist. Shove them in there, they'll be panicky regardless.

Nominations - there was nothing wrong with how they used to do it. Face to face is boring and while it creates arguments, people don't let rip in the diary room the way they used to. The Diary Room is the only trustworthy place in the house, it should stay that way.

Overall highlight show production - we get that it's a trashy show but why sell it as that? The music, the montages, the name tags, it's just such an ugly show to watch.

I'm totally here for the two-house twist that's being rumoured however, I've been suggesting that for years. Base it on the Robber's Cave studies and slowly bring the groups together - there will be bloodbaths.

I reckon they should have about half the cast under 30, have a few mid 30s, a male and female each in their 40s, someone in their 50s and have the oldest hm ever in their 70s (preferrably a man)

consistent nomination rules would be a start. so we know how many are going up for eviction each week?
perhaps they could bring back the head to head evictions but EVERY WEEK. so if there are numerous housemates up they must compete in a task to save themselves until there are only 2 up with the public voting to evict.
or alternatively have a solid 3+ up rule every week with a vote to SAVE like CBB. i cant bear the weekly witch hunts that come every week with VTE against whichever housemate is causing the most drama. until we are left with a bunch of royal bores for the finale (see timebomb, secrets and lies and every other god damn civlian series from bb7 onwards)

What ARE the current C5 nomination rules, when there's no cacky twists? Is it the top two with the most noms goes up, along with anyone else who shares the same amount of noms as those two, if that makes sense? Or is it "two or more and you're up" ?

It could be interesting if they went back and forth each week between a public voted eviction and an in-house voted eviction
