Now confirmed by ITV:

Rita Ora has confirmed that she will be leaving The X Factor judging panel ahead of the new series.

The singer - who won the show last year with contestant Louisa Johnson - took to Twitter to make the announcement, thanking boss Simon Cowell for the experience.

She wrote:

A spokesperson for The X Factor added: “Rita brought a great energy to the show last year and did a brilliant job mentoring the girls' category, leading Louisa to victory.

“We wish her all the best with her music and film plans for the rest of the year.”

The news comes after Rita’s fellow Judges Cheryl and Nick Grimshaw also confirmed their exit from the show, with announcements regarding the new panel set to be made soon.
