I really struggle to understand why they haven't thought about a Subscription service like Big Brother 2010. Like, they haven't even tried to dip their feet in. Sure they've had the 5Star Live Feed, but they've never gone all out with Online, which is where a lot of the discussion comes from about Big Brother. It'd really generate a lot more hype.

If it doesn't sell well, or people don't want it enough, then scrap it. But at least try a year with it, and see how it fairs with Celebrity Big Brother, too. The most popular of the two.

Either they do things they don't want people to see a lot and mess around with the show, or they're just too stubborn to give it a try. They could always cut away like BBUS or BBCAN does if something really exciting happens that they ideally want to save for TV. But most people watch the feeds to get a better understanding of the housemates, and also just to see more of them than the measly hour we get a night. Which is highlights.

Interesting - I just went on the Big Brother website/app and @BBUKLive appears to have been removed from the Twitter sidebar. When you go onto the Twitter section of the app @BBUKLive is blank as well.

Could they be planning on dropping the live Twitter feed as well?

lmao it wouldn't surprise me, remember when their reasoning was 'social media is the way forward, people prefer updates!', well now it'll be 'no1curr about updates, so we're dropping them'

They probs cba to watch and will bring it back for CBB when there's someone actually manning the feed

I just don't understand how a reality show/social experiment of people living together in a confined house 24/7 is not given a live feed? The show was made for a live feed christ.

It still baffles me to this day, is it not common sense for Channel 5 to provide a live feed as a subscription service as a method of generating more money from the show?

It's so dumb, like I cannot comprehend the thought process behind not having a live feed, free or not.

Because C5 don't understand or care what the concept is, nor do they care about its monetary value.

All they are bothered about is editorial control, and if they provide a live feed, they don't have that in abundance like they do now.

I wrote a blog post on the discovery that there's no live feed (again) and the pathetic excuse that Frow used (http://forums.digitalspy.co.uk/showp...1&postcount=31).

The live feed twitter account is useless anyway, they don't even tweet when someone walks & everything else is cryptic and uninformative.

Yeah I just think it's C5's relentless infatuation with CBB that forever annoys me

Like, I knew the ad couldn't possibly really be saying 'where is the live feed' and that they weren't going to give us anymore, but you can damn well bet the nightly feed will return for CBBwhatever****ingnumbernow in August

Oh well, they tried bringing it back for BB14 but the ratings were so low they couldn't justify the cost.
Obvs it would be good if they brought it back but I'm happy that they even bother to provide daily updates from the house on Twitter and the website as well as the limited live feed they sometimes give us. No other UK show goes to that extent to keep people up to date so I'm thankful for that

I genuinely think I'm the only person who doesn't really care about live feeds, I don't watch them ever. They are good for updates on here though if there's an argument etc such as Farrah vs Natasha on launch of CBB16.

I'm kind of the same too and get what you mean, it doesn't bother me as the only live feed we've got recently is at like midnight and I'm normally asleep before that.

If we were getting live feed in the afternoon during CBB16/17 then I'd probs want it more.

People need to stop moaning and going on about it, like if this was 2012 then maybe i'll care but for as much as I want it to happen, the people who constantly email the producers about the LF every season it's a bit tedious.

They've said it before though it's up to the ratings and the interest, if there is more ratings and interest in this series then they'll probably increase it like with BB14, it's no surprise they supply more amounts of LF for CBB there's more interest.

It has absolutely nothing to do with ratings or cost, and people need to stop swallowing their bull****.

It has everything to do with editorial control, which they would lose if they provided a 24/7 feed. I didn't and don't expect it to return ever again, and whilst I think it desperately should, I past the point of caring a long time ago. What I could do without though is their lies which really are just insulting.

No shade but I'm surprised you aren't in favour of the producers having full editorial control considering they use it in favour of their chosen 'entertaining' characters.
