Only if you take the housemates too seriously

Encouraging people to hate on the housemates and vote them out (in the process ruining the show) sucks. It makes the whole atmosphere of the community nasty

I'm glad it's VTE again, since the majority of this year's bunch are knobs who would coast in a VTS

Definitely the first out will be a woman yet again, 17 years in a row. I wish I could be proven wrong.

The only way to have a man out first is VTS. It's sad but true.

Chris Eubank and Goldie are the only EVER male first evictees by VTE. And there was only a small handful of HMs in their series anyway.

It's ****ing stupid tbh.

VTS has killed off my favourites in CBB the last few years. It only ever saved the Shannons for me. And my faves all did well bar Eileen in VTE last year, so you know I'm not nearly as against it as I was a few years ago.

Vote to evict never ends well, but the production staff never learn for some unknown reason.

...well, you can. Vote to evict encourages voters to think about which housemate they hate the most and want to see leave (which is counter productive in itself, yay let's ruin the show), while vote to save encourages voters to think about which housemate they like the most and want to stick around.

One is a negative voting system, the other is a positive one. Of course it encourages hatred.

However, VTS can be negative too if 2 people are up. Because people may save a HM they don't care about just to get rid of one they hate. Like Andrew Stone.

That's why it should be VTS anyway imo - when it's head to heads the VTE lovers still get their way, and when there's more than 2 up it makes it a bit more varied (e.g. BB13 is a perfect example of this - reverse VTE for the first few weeks, then the amazing ABCD eviction <3)

Of course, and that's why I think it should be VTS with 4+ up to ensure you cull the dull.

But under VTE, the biggest character will always leave. And the more people that are up, the more that usually becomes a certainty
