I think she thought she was gonna' go into the main house and have the perfect ready-made showmance to keep her in there ('cause she sure ain't got nothing else going on).

I really think Jason wants nothing to do with her EVER, but he's just humouring her while he's in there and trying to prevent her ruining his time in there. If he just told her straight out ''NO............not ever again, any time, anyhow!!!'' she'd just get really psychotic and try and turn everyone against him.

She should count herself lucky that he's a nice enough person to treat her decently in there and not just blank her 'cause that's what most people would do after she'd treated them like she did him.

Pretty sure she'll start getting on everyone's nerves soon and hopefully they'll nominate her then.

I think Jason seems genuinely afraid to set her off on this anger he's been telling us she has.. So he is being sweet and kind but trying not to lead her on because he lives in fear of her going off in the house in an angry rage.

Well, she applied last year...so they dug into her story a bit... Found Jason, and approached him/recruited him under the guise of him being a body double... That being the excuse for how he came on their radar

..I missed most of last night's HL show but I don't think that it would be Charlie that would ruin Jason's time in the house but BB themselves because it seems doubtful that either of them would have been chosen to be there if it hadn't been for the connection between them and the interest of that...it's not like either of them hold that much interest in terms of entertainment but the 'entertainment' is their relationship..so it would be impossible for her to be the cause of his time in the house being ruined as it were...BB already deemed that ruin...


...I feel really sad and sorry for her tbh...everything about her, her personality traits/her physical appearance would say to me 'insecure'...and what BB have done essentially is to take that insecurity and set it up to be 'hated'..I have no idea what their actual history is because I've only read titbits on the forum and I have no idea with Jason how encouraging he's been with her obvious admiration for him...but the whole thing just seems quite distasteful to me..not ony that BB are choosing housemates because of their insecurities but that HL shows are contrived and edited to install such negativity toward them...

I think it's a shame that they didn't call BB's bluff and agree between themselves to just be friendly and chilled with each other while in the house, then have a good chat when they get out.
Alternatively, if Charlie had been more laid back, shown Jason she was going to give him some space and then went on to have fun in the house with him and the others, he might have fallen for her all over again anyway...after all, he did love her once, so....

He chased her for a few months then spent 5 months getting rid, sounds like a classic case of you want what you can't have, then when you get it you don't want it any more, that's not love in my book, I'm not convinced that he isn't being paid at any rate and this is a stunt cooked up by BB to create drama

Why is Charlie getting hate for it? She's come into the main house and tried to pursue her ex - he hasn't set her straight yet and told her that he isn't interested in that anymore. Even at the end of the episode when she walked away from him he was still not setting her straight, she was saying that if Big Brother was more important than her than that's fair enough, and he was saying 'oh that's not what I'm saying'. He should just tell her that he doesn't want to get back with her and he wants the experience of BB more than he wants her. She's said she'll leave me alone if he doesn't want her.

I felt for her last night. As much as I don't like contrived storylines, I think the Charlie/Jason situation could prove to be really interesting. It looks like she's a very insecure, maybe slightly troubled person, and I think Jason cares about her (maybe too much to cut her out his life, but not enough to want to be with her), and as much as the situation is set up, I think they're their feelings are quite raw and natural, and it's a very different relationship dynamic to anything we've seen on BB before, so yeah it's something I'm finding very interesting to see play out.

I think you've summed it up here, Jamie. I don't think either of them are bad people, and I agree that she is actually quite insecure, vulnerable and fragile. I think the kindness and understanding Jason is showing is because he knows that, and doesn't want to hurt her. It really is a difficult situation for both of them, and I can understand why Jason doesn't want this to play out on tv.
