To add to this my friend, went in a uber car after a night out, the guy was making a convo with her and he started to get more creepy and creepy with his talking making sexual remarks. When the car stopped at her house he locked the doors and try to make a move on her. Lucky she was able to push him away and the left car door in the back wasn't unlocked (the door she was next to) so she ran out.

I LOVE Uber, but it's addictive which is bad cause towards the end of this last uni year I was using it up to three or four times a day

I expect it's far more expensive in London though but if you're willing to pay you shouldn't be disappointed. Re: picking a car, we only have X available but every driver I speak to is really friendly and talkative and on a couple of occasions I've been asked if I want the radio station changed, one guy even told me to tell him if I wanted the temperature changed I also got offered water and chocolate by another. And if you're lucky enough to get in a car with Spotify enabled you can play your own music via Bluetooth which is fun

I don't worry too much about unregistered drivers either but I think that's more of an issue in the bigger cities (sorry oop), most of the ones I speak to defected from the other minicab company which had a monopolised stranglehold over the market, and the complaints are all the same - that they have their favourite drivers and give them the better jobs, they get treated awfully and they have to do shifts whereas with Uber they clock on and off when they want, it finds you the nearest car which is better for the customer as well as them and the clientele is a lot better
