I don't understand how you can not like Jim by the end of CBB13?

He got more 'tolerable' near the end but it was still a terrible win for me, though Bear's is still 10x worse

And if you're a genuinely nice, decent person who has intelligent conversations and don't go round looking for attention or controversy, then you're a terrible housemate and you shouldn't be there. There are impressionable teenagers that watch this show and if they see these type of HMs portrayed as deserving to be in there, they will think that this is the way to get ahead in life.

People are saying that Bear is funny. What on earth is funny about seeing him deliberately go round goading his fellow HMs and deliberately goading others and upsetting them? He doesn't seem to care about it. Just as long as it gives him airtime, that's all that matters to him. He seems completely and utterly incapable of putting himself into anyone else's shoes. For those who think he's funny - if you were living with him and he was constantly doing these things both to you and in your presence, would you find him funny then? Because something tells me you wouldn't. So why, just because it's not happening to you personally, does that make his behaviour acceptable? I have never been able to understand that particular logic of it being okay for someone to do it to someone else, but not to you.

He knows exactly what he's doing. Pranks stop becoming pranks when the person on the receiving end gets angry and/or upset and when the "prankster" keeps on doing it even when they know that the other person doesn't like it.

And I don't think it's fair to call the others boring. How do we know that they're boring when we haven't even seen enough of them to come to that judgement? If anything, I find Bear boring because he just says and does the same things over and over again.
All of this is spot-on. Personally though, I'm just waiting for Bear's downfall. I can't see him keeping it together psychologically for another ten days.

You think so? I get the feeling he's quite strong mentally.

I'm guessing, and in some ways hoping, that what's going to do him in is over-confidence. If everyone accepts, as they now seem to have done, that he'll be there until the final, what is Stephen going to do to get a reaction, when he's no longer the underdog, if he's got nothing left to fight against? The demons that lurk in his skull may come out to play, even more than they already have.

I want him to stay, but still get booed and chanted. Hopefully that will stop him from getting too big headed

Yeah, if he gets the sense, as he must be beginning to, that he's possibly considered a national treasure, boos and chants will keep him grounded. I'm hoping he doesn't listen, and totally self-destructs, though.

I'd disagree he's definitely the most annoying, at least he does stuff to entertain us (well some of us) better than the wallflowers going under the radar.

Like he says they are getting paid at least work for your fee.

He's killed the series for sure.

But he's still only bottom 10 CBB at most. Lot worse than him gone through the doors over the years.

Congratulations to the producers for turning the show over to an imbecile. After smashing the place up and being allowed to stay in he was given cart blanch to continue his moronic behaviour. Those that run the show reward idiocy as they only care about generating petty squabbles. How can a grown man defacing a book with jam while babbling in the voice of a toddler be entertainment?

i don't understand how anyone could find him entertaining. the way i see it there 2 choices

1) nothing about him is genuine. everything he does he does is fake and contrived for air time

or

2) he truly is the most horrible person in the world

I think its pretty clear the former is the case but i can't find anything appealing about either choice.

Personally I think the entire house should start treating Bear in the exactly the same way he treats them. Would be interesting to see if it had any effect on Bear or on public perception of his behavior

I feel certain that the people here who think Bear is hilarious would immediately start screaming he was being bullied and they all should be ejected.

It's a game where the object of the game is to eradicate the other players....the rules are pretty much anything goes that the player thinks will keep them ahead and remove their opponents....I personally like Bears approach and don't respect Ricky's, Sams or Katie's approach but each to their own. I also find Bear Funny. He doesn't sugar coat anything and he has a talent for putting the spotlight on housemates who are hiding less than perfect personalities....in that way he reminds me of Andy who was my favourite this summer.

I don't think he is a nasty person like some we have had on BB but I just find him so boring to watch.
He is a one trick pony. He can't hold a conversation & shows no emotion or empathy towards others. He is just dull. Has no personality so acts out to distract from this.
I just find it so tedious to watch.

he is so predictable and so repetitive it is like watching slap stick " oh look he going to intentionally accidentally spill something ... again"

Jason was my favourite - and I think Bear is the best HM of all time. I love him - he'd have been my best mate in school.

He's not even the worst housemate of this series...........by a long way, let alone ''the worst HM of all time''.
