Congrats! Bet you were so thrilled getting a place!

I had a gap year after college, then did a foundation year at Keele last year, now I'm starting my 1st year at Manchester on the 19th, and I turn 21 on the 20th. I hope people don't think I'm old. I'm not doing freshers week, I might go out once. I haven't drunk since december, I basically embarassed myself by crying endlessly for 3 hours at a deafening level.

Congratulations! Uni is brilliant, all the best with your studies! Like some have said too, prepare yourself for Freshers! It's mad but so much fun, try and go to all of the events (the pub crawls are hilarious!)

I really hope I make it through freshers week.

Like I'm sure it'll be amazing fun, I'm just not sure if I can cope with 8 nights out in a row
