Doesn't Aguilera just scream her high vocals with some annoying technique? I was watching bad off key divas/what not to do when singing Aguilera was on all of them

Nothing wrong with screaming.

There's been many great screamers, Screaming Jay Hawkins, Little Richard, Jim Morrison, Janis Joplin, Robert Plant, Bjork, Kate Bush and many more.

Despite me being only 24,the greatest ever vocalist for me of all time is Petula Clark.
I love the way she styles the songs she sings live and records, even now at nearly 84 years old and after nearly 75 years in show business.
Her voice is simply an irresistible magnet to me.
I think I just about have everything she has recorded right from the 1940s to the present date.

I agree with you as to perceived screaming, it isn't always screaming,it is performance,there is a difference.
