Yeah, there's been a number of cases like this in America.

It has been suggested that female teachers in this position have been treated leniently by the courts compared to equivalent cases involving male teachers.

She has issues. She was probably neglected, or bullied through highschool,then when she became a teacher, realized the power she had,and started to recieve attention from boys that she would have been fantasizing about several years earlier. Maybe we should have a particular kinda test for teachers-to-be, to protect the kids of today. Although on the other hand, I also think that kids are growing up much faster these days,not necessarily maturing at the same rate though.

I think as its a woman they seem to "feel" some kind of sympathy for her. It is quite twisted at how different cases appear. I remember a while back there was something similar with a teacher being female was saying " she was to pretty for jail" as if thats some kind of excuse.

I think if a guy is 18 and a girl is 15 that is seen as "not so bad" but the fact she is a teacher and abusing her position and trust is awful. Plus you cannot say she didn't know the age...like an 18 year old could ....say in a nightclub situation.

Even if the girl was willing, she's only 15 and he is abusing his position of authority by sleeping with the girl.

Now you see I dont agree that it is impossible for a woman to rape a man unless he is willing! Nature is nature and if stimulated a man will get an erection whether he wants to or not, so to say that they must be willing is just wrong and a bit of an insult to those men who have been raped by women.

It could be possible for a woman to sexually assault a man by unnatural means. But in principle I agree with you. For the student to have sex with this woman he must have been stimulated and remained stimulated throughout the act.

Is it possible for a woman to rape a man? Good question I can only speak for myself but I can safely say that it's would be almost impossible for a woman to rape me. She would have to be ABSOLUTELY determined to have her way with me because I'd fight for my life.

Now here's the question. If I was attacked by a woman; and I defended myself and injured her. Who would believe my side of the story?

'She tried to rape me officer and in the struggle I broke her arm and knocked her out cold.'

That's why I'm finding this case quite funny; a fifteen year old boy could probably over power this woman.

I understand Lauren but the scenario I described could have happened in this instance. What if the guy did fight back and injured her? What would we all be thinking? I recall a case in this country where the kid claimed the teacher seduced him and the teacher said he raped her. I'll try and dig it up but it was about a year ago.

I remember that.

To be fair, the law is sided with females where rape is concerned. If the guy had fought back and injured the teacher I could very easily see how it can be twisted to make the teacher seem like a victim.

That's why I'm not taking the subject of a young man being forced into having sex with an attractive women in her early twenties too seriously. He should have fought her off. Call me old fashioned but I'm not convinvced. If he'd been younger I might see it differently.

I don't think he was forced, he was probably all for it. I just believe at 15 he couldn't have given his full consent because he was under the age of consent (although he obviously went for it).

If an older man propositioned a 15 year old girl for sex, she could very easily say yes whilst still not giving her full consent, in my opinion. And I think this is why I find a problem with this case.

Wow, there's a country where the age of consent is 9, yet within it, you need to be married.

Of course it wouldn't be a case in France, but say a 50 year old man slept with a 9 year old girl - this wouldn't be a case in whereeverthehellitis.
