That's fine, except when FACTS which we DID see and hear are ignored when giving an opinion. It just personally bugs me.

Because he realised Jamie was really hurt, and I've noticed previously that James always apologises if he person tells them they are hurt.

Well, there was no way of knowing whether he was acting or not, so that was open to interpretation.
