Oooh good point stropz, you can tell the difference between crying. The hurt/hunger cry is very much different to the tantrum/strop/anger wail. Because it is a wail and it mainly comes with shouting and stomping!

Yeah there's this mental girl in my business class who always used to do OTT sneezes all the time to get attention and she still says weird stuff like saying bonjour to people when she sees them, but she's not normal so no one says anything.

^^^ How odd! She obviously does have problems then, rather than being an 'attention seeker' in the sense I understand the word.
The things she does are funny and so random. I get why nobody says anything though!

Yeah it is difficult to fake a laugh. Which is why you can tell.

LOL I remember last year some friends told me I cackled sometimes. I didn't even notice! So now I don't so much cackle, but still have an infectious laugh (which sometimes goes high-pitched).

I have a friend who can talk about no-one but herself, its such a shame because she is a nice enough girl. Sadly every conversation we all have turns to her and something she has done or wants to do, I dont think she gets tired of takling about herself ever. Also if someone is ill in our group of friends she will have an illness or a fall and hurt herself. She also does this if she is feeling left out of things when we all get a little tired of her. She is currently walking like an idiot after she "fell over the dog" last weekend and hurt her back and leg! all because she was feeling left out me thinks and I sadly always question whether her "accidents" were real.

Lol yeah, but she used to screach in them as well so everyone got a pierced ear drum. She did one today as well, she hadn't done one for a long time. Probably because she was being ignored by everyone today. Weirdo

There's a girl in my office like that. It has come to the point now where I avoid conversation with her.

I don't know wether this is attention seeking or not but..
..a former best friend used to do nothing but brag. She would go on and on about herself non stop all day long. Bragging about how much money her parents had, her new make up and clothes. And then she was on about how happy her parents were together which upset me soo much because around that time my parents were on the verge of splitting up, and she knew this so in the end i just snapped. We had a HUGE argument and she ended up slapping me.

I still give her the evils in school.

Two types of attention seekers:

The good- Just fun people that are confident and like to have attention for being fun and loud.

The bad- Pathetic sad low lives that need attention to get through life

They're a pain in the ass ain't they? When it has no point I mean. Just saying or doing **** solely for attention.

PMSL! Just pathetic.
I think everyone has tried to seek attention in their lives. If they say they haven't, they are lying!

I cut myself for my parents attention when I was 13. Not proud of what I did, and I do regret it.
