Paxman trying his hardest to fish for something and failing

Show would have been great if he shut up more and let the audience ask more questions.

I've always hated Paxman. Mostly because of how condescending he is on University Challenge... its great to see him be put firmly back on the ground again

There was some question-dodging but some pretty dumb questions too. Even Mr. UKIP Tory Tory? UKIP thinks so.

A fairly successful broadcast for Corbyn.

Actually after one of Paxman's worst series of questions ever I think,Corbyn has come across rather well.
If I wasn't already a Labour supporter,he would have gone some way to winning me over.

Wait so if Paxman is just as bad on Theresa you're actually going to say he's not being nice or is that acceptable?

I always thought England did get a winter fuel allowance. Or is it based on income in England but universal in Scotland?

Corbyn did quite well but he should have answered a lot of the questions better, especially one about the falklands and the one about drone strikes.

Lying is the one thing she does to perfection.

She's not very good at this really but at least she's a credible politician so the questions were all about current policy, she doesn't have 30 years of association with terrorists hanging around her neck like Corbyn does

Yes, I thought Corbyn came across speaking well and determined, just couldn't believe most of what he said.
Theresa May is not the best at speaking in public, but she tells it as she thinks it, even if she knows we won't like the answers.

Yes,that is why I lean towards her,she doesn't curry favour for votes.

I agree - I appreciate some honesty even if I don't like what I hear.

I do think Corbyn is saying what he knows many want to hear.

Words come cheap. Actions don't.

And all we have from may is 'gonna' we;re gonna write a green paper, talk to peopl and charities.... Why has she not done it so it can go in the manifesto?

Nothing about foodbanks, nothing about NHS waiting times nothing about housing. She was given a VERY easy ride.

She didn't say anything though. It was literally all catchphrases platitudes and desperate attempts to avoid questions.

Corbyn pretty much crushed it, he gave detailed responses, he backed up what he was saying. Look at the question about the EU deal, Corbyn could tell us exactly what he wanted from a deal and he committed to getting that deal but May refused to be anything other than vague and non-committal.

She said nothing of substance.
