I liked Nikki and Pete relationship because it cantained both elements. They started off as friends, got to know each other, built up the trust and respect for each other and then fell for each other over time. They both didnt want to fall for each other and denied it for a while. I think people only tend to remember the last week when the were full on and forget the earlier weeks of their relationship.

I thought Helen and paul relationship and Preston and Chantelle relationship were based on genuine bonds, but could not enjoy them completely because they already had a boyfriend/girlfriend.

I disliked Michelle and Stuart relationship, mainly because I did not like michelle.

I remember the earlier weeks when Nikki said there was nobody in there she fancied... and then I remember Nikki leaving and realising how popular Pete was on the outside and then suddenly realising how she felt about him .. Not false at all... ...

Nikki fancied Pete in week three has shown by their kiss in week 3, in week 5 she admit to Lea that she fancied Pete and told Imogen in Week 7 that she liked him. You seem to have a case of selective memory

I'm sorry but I still don't believe the Nikki & Pete relationship.I'm with Stropz on this one.
Nikki said some horrible things about Pete in the first few weeks then had a sudden change of opinion when first he seemed popular with the housemates then she realised she had nobody else as everyone had paired up.Then on being evicted she knew it was a vote winner.
To gve them any benefit of doubt I'd say at the very best they ended up together because they had nobody else to be in a couple with.
The only couple that really proved me wrong were Lee & Sophie,I really disliked their relationship but they got married and had a baby so it must have been genuine.
I tend to dislike most the ones that come out and insist on telling everyone about their sex livesthat to me gives them a label of desperate to get in the papers. If the relationships were genuine then surely they'd want to keep some things private.

Aye, maybe so. I just found her to be so false, so maybe I can't remember anything good about her to be honest.

I liked the fact that Chantelle & Preston worked it out.

He really liked her and she liked him.

Relationships forming from reality shows are nice to see and if we see it happen in Big Brother 8 then it will be great viewing too. Even if there is plenty of kissing and touching on the show.

There is nothing wrong with that.

How would you all feel, if two girls came on the show and fell for each other and we saw a Lesbian relationship form on the show.

Would anybody find it offensive or disgusting?

I personally wouldn't!

If it is fair for a guy & a girl to meet and fall in love in Big Brother, then, in 2007 we shouldn't complain in some samesex activities either.

Does anybody wish to comment??

I don't find gay relationships offensive at all. It's no different from the straight ones in my opinion.

Watching the relationship develop is interesting for us people watchers, but full on snoggin is a bit much really. It's better if they can be a bit more subtle and if they wanna have a snog, then do it under the covers!

I'm not a prude, I just don't really wanna watch it. I find the psychological part of the relationship more interesting. I like the "will they/wont they" and the sly glances, where you can see it developing.

But, as for the "gay" issue, it's not an issue for me at all. Nor is multiracial/interracial relationships. I'm quite a tolerant person, contrary to my reputation..

I haven't a problem with "Gay" relationships on reality shows, or even in "Soap Opera's", but when there is a girl/girl or guy/guy kissing or physical touching, there is often complaints.

If this did happen in Big Brother 8 I think the media would make a meal out of it and it could make good ratings too.

it is strange how many people still get offended!

In today's world, especially!! Anything goes today!!

Wife-swapping and group-orgies.

So "Stropz", if you were on Big Brother, you would be controversial?

I do not remember Nikki saying anything horrible to Pete in the earlier week? What did Nikki say?

She went into the Diary room and moaned about the fact that everyone was in a couple and there was nobody left for her but Pete and he was *pulling her face* smelly and something else which I can't remember.
To be honest that was the time I think that most that ended up not liking her went off her.I can't remember the exact words but remember seeing it and it wasn't just a small mention of him she had a full rant about how disguisting he was.It was not long before she did that speech about him being lovely, which to be honest was clearly her way of backtracking because she knew he was popular.
She never said it to him she said it in the diary room.I think I remember Pete also saying that Nikki was annoying around the same time.I think for him to go back on his words is one thing as he may just have got used to her ways, but for her to do a complete turn around in her opinions within a few days was just too far fetched.

I remember that clip, but Nikki never mention Pete. she said everyone was in couples and she was left with richard. I have seen never a clip of Nikki ranting about Pete. I agree to disagree with you on the issue.
