I know exactly what he's saying, Kiz. He annoys me so I'm just going to ignore him.

Ok..... the subject is going a bit off topic.
The fact is that Paris broke the law, several times and hs been caught driving on a suspended licence. She signed the papers to say she understood that it was suspended and in a court she now faces the consequences |

There's a lot of people who would find it hard to cope in prison. So there's a solution to that - don't do anything which might land you in prison. |

And another thing - think of a celebrity who you don't like. Would you think that they should escape jail if they had done exactly what Paris had done? What if I had done it, or someone else here had done it? Do you think they should escape jail?

I dont think any of us would like to think that we could "cope" in prison, but the reality is we probably would. We would hate it, we would cry but at the end of the day if we deserved to be there we would get on with it.
I was brought up in what most would consider to be a "well off" family so does that mean that I should be excused from prison if I break the law, then break it again? With celebrity status comes responsibility and as so many young people "idolise" them then they should really accept that this kind of behaviour is not acceptable in normal walks of life. These girls seriously need to grow up and get a grip on reality, it's only a matter of time before their reckless behaviour kills an innocent person, what will the calls be then "she's sorry" or "she didnt mean to" I would never assume to tell people who they can be a fan of or not, but to blindly follow these people leaves me a very worried adult! |

Good on ya Ruth
I wouldn't wish anyone who hadn't killed or physically hurt someone to go to jail. She is a young girl, Geoff, and you can bet that because of her name she will get an extremely tough time from the other inmates. Oh wait, that's what you want isn't it

I am sorry it came to this, I really didnt think she would go to jail but what you all fail to notice is that she broke the law several times.
She was caught drink driving, caught on a suspended licence and then caught again just a short while after being told and signing an document saying she must not drive. On this occasion she was speeding and driving without her lights on. Maybe the sentance is a bit harsh but you cant deny she broke the law repeatedly and therefore had to be punished |

At least you won't be apart of the group of members who says she 'deserved it.' |

I'm not sure as to whether she deserved it or not to be honest Kirstin.
But she did have a string of violations and she was also required to take a alcohol education programe which she didnt do either. It seems to me that after her DUI caution she ignored all the other warnings. It also seems that her spokesman, Elliot Mintz advised her that after her 30 day suspention that he believed her license was no longer suspended. But surely you would check yourself??????? For all the people who say she wont cope in prison, well maybe not, but others have to. She is no different to anyone else facing a 45 day sentence. |

Can I also state that people who had different opinions to those of you who love Paris shouldn’t be singled out and called paris haters. This is intimidating. I have just looked through a few thread and I can see a few members have singled out one of these so called ‘haters’ and actually called them one.
She broke the law and people are allowed a different opinion to others ![]() A little maturity would be appreciated. |

She deserved it. Let's hope it straightens her out. I've no sympathy for her and I never will. Don't do the crime if you can't do the crime. I think it's right to make an example of her.

Another thing. As Ruth pointed out, if she was some crack ***** on welfare you'd never give her the support you're giving her here. She's a repeat offender. Nobody should be allowed to flout the law in the way she feels she has the right to. Nuff said.
