I'm A Celebrity's casts are always the same and have been for years now.

They like to tick certain boxes with their choices. There's always a couple of soap stars, an athlete, an unknown politician for early-boot fodder, a has-been that was last relevant in the 80s and someone from TOWIE or MIC.

At least CBB mix it up a little and don't rely on the same type of people.

It's one of the most repetitive reality shows overall too, it's the exact same thing every year with the only changes being minor.

This too.

It's beyond stale.

However, the public don't like change. I'm A Celebrity and The Apprentice are the only two reality shows that still retain their high ratings and neither of them have really changed much throughout their run.

Whereas BB and XF shake things up every year, or try to rather, even if it's for the worse, they still make somewhat of an effort and they both rate a fraction of what they used to in their respective peaks.

Deathly dull. 2015 managed to be great because they unintentionally cast a great in Lady C but even she was just one of their pretentious choices and an accident.

It literally must have the biggest budget out of CBB/DOI/SCD etc. I don't get how it manages the worst line ups. Something is seriously wrong with the casting team. So pretentious.

They always go for bigger and respectable names, in fitting with their whole "classy family show" image. Their mantra is pretty much the more expensive and well-known a celebrity is, the better they'll be and that's rarely ever the case as CBB has proved that the cheaper, lesser-known names are often much better value, entertainment wise.

Although I'm shocked they haven't cast a Vicky/Ferne/Scarlett type this year who will do extremely well and give the show a year of free promo through endorsements and television roles. Toff hasn't got the personality and Rebekah is destined to appear on Channel 5 documentaries for the rest of her telly career.

Idk about Drama but I’d say fame wise it’s definately better than last year, seems like it’ll be a more wntertaining cast imo as well. Won’t beat 2014/2015 though ;( was hoping Koo Stark would be the new Lady C
