Exactly and regarding surrounding yourself with people - you live life and have to interact with all types of people not by choice but through work, school, uni etc etc

It's extremely sexist, that's what I think, but I guess the show won't be affected by it because not a lot of men watch the show... which brings me to the question... does this not mean WOMEN watching this show are to blame? I agree. I think the issue is women seem to think its a one way system and that they can speak and treat men how they want but men have to have respect and not do certain things as they are sexist. If magic mike was called magic mickaler it would have been a very different story

Yep. I constantly see tweets such as "all men are the same", "i hate men", ****, you had a problem with 1 man, doesn't mean the other 3b are the same

Now, if i say "all women are the same", i'd probably have my house on fire as soon as i hit send. And when i said to the tweet "naa, don't paint men all the same brush", I was called SEXIST.

Just to pick up on this, yes it is awful that suicides in men are on the rise, but suicide attempts are pretty much 50/50. Just men chose more violent methods so are successful more often

Women tend to go with pills and such that can be sorted if found in time. where men will shoot themselves or something...where there is no chance of saving really.

As for the OP, I wouldn't mind an all male launch. Honestly most of my faves tend to be men anyway. They couldn't really do it as 'X years of men having X' though as men have had it all for ever

I.agree with what your saying. I think they should have at least let men into the audience. I get the theme, but i feel like as the op pointed out the vote was about equality for women not women being better then men. I heard a few sexist comments made during the live show by the women, like how men cant hold an interesting conversation, taking over the world from men, about not wanting to be a man if they come back in another life and vile comments about dangly bit between mens legs and that men are less educated then women. If men said things like that they would get so much stick.

if they swapped the genders of the phrasing, I'd think "

why are we celebrating men?", because even if they most likely don't give 2 ****s about women's rights, the sentiment and awareness is there at least

I support people based on what they are like. Not gender, and that's what every human being should do. Not exclaim QUEEN or KING just because of their gender.

I can guarantee I'll be called sexist after this... how dare i have women and men as favourites!!

Thats all i was trying to say. Everyone should treat people equally regardless of gender. Not have it so its one Rule for one and one for another in terms of what you can say.

It's just some people who try to make a deal out of everything. Everyone should be equal, but i see a few people really seem to think women are superior. I don't think any gender is. EQUALITY is the word here, not SUPERIORITY.

Tonight's show and Loose Women are about SUPERIORITY not EQUALITY. I thought we were focusing on that?

I don't know one woman who thinks women are superior. Not one. If one dim woman says we are, then she's clearly not the deep thinker she thinks she is.

Loose Women, most of them have spent the whole hour saying "men are useless at this and that, women are much better". God knows why i watched the whole show. was fascinated.

I don't think anyone would bat an eyelid at an all male cast. They don't even need a legit reason to do it, like they did have for the female-only cast. It's not at all sexist. They wanted to do something different, they had some sort of logic behind it, and they done it.
