I don't know why but it reminds me of the Countdown title sequence.

On one of the adverts the eye spins like a safe lock, [combination]....or am I adding fuel to a fire that's never going to start?

^yea i thought this

thats actually what this thread is about......

the fact that now in 3D / motion it adds to all the theories we have had about the eye

and now it makes them even more ingruiging.......

You can't undo a lock without a key...so they say...so how are people going to get into this room.

Because they're not allowed 'items' like that in the house...so it's got to be a safe combination.

A safe combination has been mentioned before. That's why I previously asked if someone could rotate it as some of the colours do match up (but not all of them). On the adverts though, the pieces seem to come out and rotate?

Yeah I said before the key hole I can see in the eye design. So will be some kind of task to find the key or the code to unlock this thing.

i think the keyhole is significant because if you watch closely, the white bits of the pupil and spine just appear when they other bit fit. I think it is significant. thoughts?

Me too, it really got on my nerves when people were slitting their rists over it. It does look much better in 3D though!

The eye definatley looks better in 3d like in the ads, I wonder if they'll use a 3d eye in the titles?
