None of them really stand out to me at the moment, they all seem pleasant enough but it will take me a couple of days to get attached to a fave.

Everyone seems to like Scott, not sure why myself, he's OK but nothing special.

I like Scott (very cute), Ray and Tania but i don't think anyone stands out as a strong personality who you could see as a winner at the moment. But it is too early to tell.

Right – my first impressions are:

Anouska – reminds me of Tina S Club (don’t know why) and is VERY loud
Cameron – seems nice enough – like him
Federico – not sure about him. Didn’t like one of his ‘luxury’ items either Sticks!!
Gos – quiet
Jon – another quiet one. Could either be a ‘grower’ or bore me to death!!
Justine – seems fairly friendly and open.
Nush – seemed quiet but getting very pally with Federico already
Ray – appears very easygoing.
Scott – a cross between Robbie Williams and that young bloke that got killed off in Brookside years ago (Scott O’Brien?) – like him
Sissy – another loud one but not annoying me as much as Anouska (but it’s close!)
Steff – reminds me of Elizabeth (OMG!!!)
Tania – had a few ‘Catalina’ moments – not sure about her.

I do, of course, reserve the right to change my mind on any or all of the above over the coming weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No offence to Scott - he's a sweetie and I do like him - but NOT EVEN CLOSE!!!

He does look like that chap that used to be in Brookside, though (played Damon Grant) - a few folk have remarked on that.

Anyway, my favourites at this early stage are Jon, Gos and Justine. Jon made me laugh with what he said to Big Brother when he was nominating.

I woke up this morning, put Big Brother on straight away when i was waking up. Forgot what it was like! So excited, now i have got to know the housemates a LITTLE better I think I'm going to like at least a few of them.

I said I was going to sleep last night and I put off the light and the TV but then I thought I HAD to see what the housemates are getting up to.

OOOo Now I remember why I like Big Brother so much.

Well, first of all I have to say I like the house and I am already feeling more benevolent to them than I did to last years.

So here we go on my first impressions


Anouska – Very immature and self-conscious. She is overcompensating by being loud, overdressing and then feeling out of place. Very attractive. So really annoyed me at first, now I feel sort of sorry for her. All the text messages last night wanted her out. Is she another Jade in the making? Oh, and Anoushka--GET A BRA!!

Cameron – Love that soft lilting accent. He seems very nice, but given his backgoround just may turn out to be a bit of an old woman....BTW Cameron.don't keep putting that apple your head...

Federico – I think he was pretty stunned to be nominated I am not sure about him either, bit of a cocky type, and his luxury items are deeply sad.

Gos – He is quiet, I agree, but I do like him. I think he'll come out of himself over the next few days. Something about him makes me warm to him.

Jon – Also quiet, but seems sensitive and I think is just weighing things up a bit. Sadly, his stand back and observe quietly tack would have been effective if it were not for the early nominations.

Justine – I like Justine as well. She is unpretentious and imperfect figure wise, but is happy with herself.

Nush – When I heard she'd just come back from India etc, I thought 'Oh God', but when she admitted she had no idea about the indian gods, culture etc, I warmed to her. very pretty, and yes, the Joely Richardson thing is definitely there. Was immediately and unshowily upset by the nomination process. I think I like her.

Ray – appears very easygoing, and I am sure he is a good bloke. Bit predictable to have another cheeky Irish boy though..

Scott – I am a bit underwhelmed by him. I think his shirt was definitely instrumental in his nomination! I don't find him at all attractive, and see no Robbie resemblance. A bit Nasty Nick-ish in looks perhaps.

Sissy – She is loud, and I think she was very annoying. I thought she'd get nominated last night.

Steff – Reminds me and OH of Elizabeth too! But I have seen her again this morning, and she is less pretentious. But there again, so is the Queen.

Tania – I don't know why, but I didn't take to her at all. She is attractive I suppose, but a definite hmmmmmmmmm.


Of course, it's silly to make such a quick judgement. First impressions are very important, but we all make mistakes in this, and for goodness sake, they were all nervous and excited.

Overall though, they're not bad, and I think it's going to make interesting viewing.

My faves are Gos, Jon, Nush,Justine and Cameron
But im sure ill have other faves

My first impression last night was that it seemed much more like a "dinner party" atmosphere rather than last year which was a Club18-30 party!!

OK, so first impressions the girls seem a lot more distinctive and individual than the boys. You can see how they have been "cast" a bit more.

Anouska - the baby, loud and insecure. People will vote her out because they don't want another situation like Jade last year!

Justine - the caring, friendly one. She will come across as geniune.

Nush - the hippy chick. Seems lovely.

Sissy - the mad, cheeky Liverpool scally girl. Will get on people's nerves unless she tones it down a bit.

Steph - the level-headed, sensible one. (Though I am intrigued by the fact she was a footballer's wife for 2 years - could be more to her than meets the eye).

Tania - the posh totty. Reminds me a bit lookswise of Tara P-T. (Maybe PT stands for posh totty ).

The boys are less easy to tell about at the moment. Federico, Ray and Cameron seem more jokey and Scott, Gos and Jon seem quieter but I need to see more to make up my mind.

I've enjoyed reading your comments everyone!

As a lot of you have said, it's early days to start disecting them!

Of the four that are up for nomination, I think Federico & Scott will be safe in the public vote. I think it's going to be between Anouska & Jon who will go first.

I think the drink got to Anouska last night and I found she got louder and louder! I find Sissy a bit loud too.

Scott reminds me a bit of Joe Absolom (?spelling) who use to be in EastEnders with a bit of Robbie Williams thrown in!!

Federico and Ray are both pleasing on the eye.

Hubby thinks Steph will go far.

As for the others, they seem to be all quietly getting on with things.

Going to be a good BB, I feel......

Well, I came home last night forum my bb1 so I missed it live and couldnt wait to get the video in to start watching.
They seem a really good bunch, heres my thoughts:

Anoushaka - Shes probably my least favourite, quite annoying and childish but for entertainment value, she should be kept in.

Gos: How cute??! I think he could come out a possible winner, although too early to tell. Hes reseved and quiet but seems thoughtful and a generally a nice guy.

Nosh: She seems sweet. Could be a laugh, seems down to earth and genuine.

Scott - Quite good looking. I can see maybe something happen between him and Tania? Reminds me of Dennis from Eastenders.

Federico: A bit head doing. Could rebel a bit which I like. Seems a bit up himself though.

Steph: Maybe coulf get on my nerves a bit. Seems okay but not a fave.

Jon: I liked him at first but the more I am seeing it, the more he is annoying me. I have voted for him to leave.

Tania: One of my faves at the moment. Seems pretty genuine and girl, next door type. Possibly could start a romance with Ray or Scott?

Ray: Sexy!! I like him. Not annoying, just normal.

Justine: Okay but she might be a bit dull - I can see her turning into a mother figure. I dont dislike her though, just not my overall fave at the moment.

Camron: Seems sweet and funny. Could get on my nerves a bit but seems a nice lad.

Sissy: I like her. Seems to be trying a bit too hard but Ill give her the benefit of the doubt for the moment.

I'm liking it so far - having seen too much of it so these opinions could change.
