I was having a chat about this with my Brother today, it's shocking at how poor the other continents are at Football compared to Europe on average.

All the best players in the world now tend to play in europe because that's where the money is. As a consequence, everyone is familiar with their style of play and can learn to deal with it. Similarly, the difference between what traditionally would have been weaker countries and the big guns is now much smaller, so games are much closer with more unexpected results.

Also, it disproves the argument about the english/scottish leagues suffering from having so many foreign players .... because those foreign countries arent doing any better
