well our team PSV have beaten spanish team Valencia, who are a regular 5th/6th place at the spanish la liga which is also a quite good achievement, even if it is a friendly match, so yeah i agree with Adam, friendly matches are important to begin your season

Lol.....pre season games mean very little when your squad is not at full strength. I don't doubt that if Liverpool play like they did towards the end of last year they will have a great season. City will be tough again and United will have to play well. Jose is a showman.....his post match interviews are hilarious. With the gaps between all pairings a lot closer than they were last season.

Not sure why, just get the impression Mourinho's completely lost it lately and bar Pogba they just don't have....that good a squad. Sanchez has gone AWOL since last September, everyone seems to be played out of position, or wants to leave and no big-names linked with them atm it seems. Don't get me wrong, it wouldn't be a shock to see them top 3 again, it's just... there seems to be dissension in the ranks.

I never said that Tottenham will win, but their team is a lot stronger than 7th place.

They'll definitely beat Arsenal (no offence to the Arsenal fans on here) and they can actually defend unlike Liverpool so I see them beating them, the only loose cannon that I could see stopping Tottenham from being in the top 3 is Chelsea as them and Man City have been alternating the Premier League's lately.
