Other countries have agreements and free trade arrangements with the EU and other countries, whereas the UK won't if there's no deal

No. But why should they give us a deal if it won't be beneficial to them and if the UK is cherry picking bits of the EU they want to remain a part of but leave bits they're not fans of, which is what the current strategy of the UK is.

Seems like the sensible thing to do no?

What would be irresponsible is NOT preparing for no deal.

i think you have missed the point arista, a no deal doesn't require a vote in parliament, it is a default on there being no agreement with the EU, and something that is more than likely.

No it can't Arista. We have put forward our proposals as authorised by parliament. If the EU do no agree to those principles, it is a no deal. There will be no vote on a no deal, and we exit the EU in March with or without that deal

The EU won’t let us leave with no deal. They need a deal. For the sake of negotiations,It’s good to show them that we’re serious and WE ARE LEAVING with or without a deal.

arista.Article 50 is triggered. If no deal was reached then we’d be out with no deal and default to the WTO.Our parliament has no authority over the EU.

[Supermarkets criticise food stockpiling suggestion in event of 'no deal' Brexit
The government's suggestion stores should stockpile food in the event of a "no deal" Brexit has been slammed as "not practical".]

["Retailers do not have the facilities to house
stockpiled goods and in the case of fresh produce,
it is simply not possible to do so.]

Sky news, evening standard, the sun, the express, the times, the daily star, businessinsider, the mirror, the daily mail, the independent, a load of sources i aint heard of, and many more have all reported the same story that the army are preparing to stock up on food and medical supplies in the case of a no deal.

It is a fact, it isnt project fear lol. Reminds me of when the value f the pound was literally falling through the ground and that was project fear too.

Guess what? Brexit is sometimes bad, being in denial every single time something worrying happens is why people stuggle to ever take leavers seriously.

Let's have a little reality check. When we exit the EU in March we still have a legally binding transition period whether we exit with a deal or otherwise. So the stock piling stories are complete works of fiction.
