They didn't really resort to any of those old tricks in CBB21 though so have faith!

Im hoping in the civilian one there's atleast one twist midway through like it used to be whilst staying true to its roots by having a structure again.

dd why are they literally doing backflips trying to work out what the nomination rules are when the format is pretty simple and has worked for 13 years prior to them messing it up

I do feel cautiously optimistic, especially about BB19. The celeb series isn’t supposed to be the most intense version of the format and if it is then that should be because the housemates make it like that.
I love that the eye has a hidden factor that won’t be seen till Launch Night. It might just be that the other side turns into the literal eye of a hurricane or something (which is what I hoped the eye would be when the theme was revealed) but I feel like it’s already much less going through the motions than previous series has been.
