people really considering people who were there for 1/2 weeks legends lmao

IMO the only ones who I'd consider legends are Chanelle n Helen Wood. They are the only 2 housemates who have slightly stayed in the press (purely off their stint in big brother, and not off of other things like Lateysha) and controlled their series highlights show, having countless quotes n iconic moments and that everyone is talking about while the series is on.

Issy is close and don't get me wrong my fav C5 housemate ever, but IMO she isn't a legend, she had a legendary take down but her actual time in the house wasn't that crazy, or eventful other than the takedown. The rest of her moments were either selfless or funny but not in a legendary way, more in a this girl is understated and funny without even knowing it. The type u want as a friend.

Jayne was a fad, I think people thought she was a legend and I guess she is the closet after Chanelle n Helen and then Gina after Jayne but they didn't have that something about them which made everyone watching talk about them and either love or hate them.

Natalie, Arthur, Sukhvinder n possibly Sallie, Bianca n Jemima were on route to become legends but IMO if they aren't coming out of the series being the most popular / talked about they can't really be considered legends. The term legends is thrown around way too much.

Hughie was hysterical and one of the biggest parts of BB17, I included him cause he's recent, if we're doing the whole of the C5 era it would be Aaron, Deana, Gina, Dexter, Helen, Marc, Hughie, Chanelle

i think i would like him more if people didn't like him so much, if that makes any sense ?? like i found him quite funny n liked him but then when people were praising him like he was the second coming it made him seem less funny to me IMO jayne was wayyyyy more funny than hughie

but if we are putting hughie n dexter on the list jayne n isabelle are on par with them

He's not even popular on this forum I dunno what you're talking about, he's actually quite (unfairly) hated here

And I don't know why people's opinions on someone change just because "too many like them". What does that have to do with someone's actual merit as a housemate?

i didn't say on this forum ?? i just said people, as in general

n it's just a personal thing, like if i feel someone is overrated it makes me feel as if they aren't as good as they may actually be, it happens most of the time particularly on shows like x factor / bgt, in hughie's situation i think it made me deep it too much n think why people liked him so much making me not like him as much, in conclusion it's hard to fookin explain n it's just a personal thing so shut it x

No I get that, the thing for me is I LOVED Jayne but she was way too inconsistent. She'd have a ****ing brilliant rant, and then disappear for about two weeks before having another, whereas Hughie was literally in almost EVERY episode starting for no reason

ah u see for me even when jayne wasn't doing anything i found her fookin hilarious, like just the way she tottered about in ha heels HAHAHAHA, but yeah i agree with u that because of that she shouldn't be considered an icon, which is why in my first post i explained IMO a legend is someone who dominates their series highlights show (helen n chanelle)
