Yeah I love watching Big Brother all around the world, that's amazing ! But I have to say, BB UK is the best, it learnt to me so many things about english people and language !

I'm quite nervous about all those new "stupid" members, really. It was not like that before, that's really not funny, the funniest part of tibb is gone, except between us, old members.

To come back to my "international family" lol, sometimes we speak in italian or in russian, when my father and me, we drink vodka, we speak in russian, it's so cool !
But when I argue with my mother, it's in italian, she's a "mamma" so it's really big !
With my ssister we speak in french but sometimes in italian or in english ! And during christmas, it's horrible cause all my familly is here, russian and italian ones, so I have to speak different languages at all the time, but it's wicked !

Yes my parents obligated me to speak italian and russian when I was really young. I speak english for 10 years, and italian, at school for 4 years and russian, at school, for 2 years. But I speak the 2 last languages more than 4 and 2 years ! But I'm so rubbish in spanish lol, even if it's near to the italian, it's so hot lol.
I haven't a better language, my 3 foreign languages are wicked !

I'm shocking. I'm only fluent in English. But you see, the U.K. is like that. Apparently we are the worst in the world for not being multi-lingual. We are probably too arrogant and think that everyone should speak English so most of us don't bother to learn a new language.

Yes that's what I think. It's not against english people, but like everybody says, your language is the international one, so you don't want to speak other languages, but you loose a lot because it's really interesting and wicked. You discover new cultures, new people, new coutries. I had 5 english exchanges, and only one of them, the last one, spoke a great french ! I was shocked !
Also, I was shocked in england, that you don't show a lot of passion for the other coutries, you don't really want to discover them. You miss a lot of things. !
But I repeat that, it's NOT against you, I love english people, their lifes, their manners and everything. You are so funny, and crazy.

It would be better if we got taught foreign languages at a younger age, say starting at 5/6 rather than 12 as you already seem set in your ways by then and there's alot more different subjects to concentrate on by the time you're that age.

The members who you call "Stupid", have been quite nice too! It is usually a small problem that gets magnified. You know what I mean?

I sympathise with all the languages you have to communicate with. Nevermind, it is part of your everyday life and I am sure you cope well.

That's alright, I'm Scottish, so you can say what you like about English.. LoL.. just kidding!..

But, it is a fact. The English speaking countries don't bother to learn other languages as much.

In france, we have more subjects than you at school, we work 32 hours per week. And 2 foreign languages are compulsory. The first at 11 y-o and the second at 13 y-o. You can decide your 2 languages (95% take english as first language). And we have to be concentrated on others subjects. And it's not so hard. When I hear that a 1:30 hour exam is so hard, I laugh because all of my exams are in 4 hours and no stop during.
