as sick as it sounds, it'd depend on the shop

There's a corner shop a half hour walk from me and the lady who runs it is absolutely rude. A worker there sold me the wrong bus ticket, I tried to get a refund the next day and they said "only the manager can do that :/" who was off for a week, so I came back a week later and they were like "well no any of us could have done it!! It's been left too late now!! why did you leave it so late " (like because your coworkers that are stood right there told me only you could do it and you were on holiday,,,) so she sent me away £50 short

Short story short I was that petty I complained to like three companies and conversed between the three of them and they were like "she sounds unhelpful here's a credit note"

Sadly I couldn't use it at that shop, but needless to say, I would've LOVED to just show up and rub it in their face.

Monologue aside, after they robbed me of £50, I'd love to return the favour tenfold

But the corner shop a two minute walk down my road? I wouldn't dare steal from them they're lovely! Also if I get caught it's awkward because I'm a lot more local :/

Wait, who asked if you'd rob the shop?

By taking the rucksack of money I'd essentially be robbing the shop

Unless someone robbed a bank then decided to strut into the offy, walked out without the sack, got home and thought "oh my christ! I've left the loot at the store!" like when mams ALWAYS forget a bag of shopping at the store!

Josy said the rucksack was come across on the way to the shop, not that the shop was itself robbed.

Was it you and this is your confession?

Oh mess I read it as if you walked into the shop and there's just a burlap sack filled with cash in the milk aisle!

My lawyer has told me to say: "no comment"

Yes he got away with some, but did some more robberies and was caught.

A few years back in town one cash machine was giving out double the amount you asked for, a week or so later there was an ad in the local paper asking those who got double if they would return the over payment.

Ours did this once, when I was a teenager (unfortunately before I had a bank account). it was the only time I ever saw a queue for that cashpoint, word obviously got around fast and everyone in the village was there, withdrawing the max amount on each of their cards! Police tried putting out a notice that they were going through cctv and would arrest anyone they recognised and that anyone who got extra had to take it into the bank. noone did obviously

They must have lost a fortune that night..started just after the bank closed and was the same right through til the morning..so I assumed, along with half the village being 'thieves'..noone thought to ring the number on the machine and report the malfunction

Walk past and pretend I hadn't seen it, go somewhere and get into a disguise, come back, grab it, run like **** into the wilderness.

In the meantime someone else might have struck it lucky though. I would hate myself for thinking logically if I did this and got back and it was gone!
