Default Controversy as black actress plays white cat
The trailer for the live-action version of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s musical smash dropped on Thursday night, and now many fans who have viewed it say Francesca’s fur not matching her skin tone is an example of ‘racism’.

‘Whitewashing’ is a term that refers to Hollywood’s long history of sidelining black actors and preferring to cast mostly white leads in films.

The only time that I've seen racism for this kinda thing was the Last Airbender Film as it's clearly based around Asian culture so having a white Aang just doesn't feel right.

But going back to the topic, who seriously cares who is playing which Cat?
